Grants between $5K and $50K to institutions around the world working to support libraries and early-to mid-career women scientists in the developing world. The program provides grants to libraries in the developing world to improve access to scientific, technical, and medical information. KNIGHT FOUNDATION COMMUNITY INFORMATION CHALLENGE

Deadline: June 1. Up to $50K in seed funding to help community and place-based organizations launch news and information projects that have an impact on issues they care about and ensure that residents are informed and engaged. Priority will be given to Open Government projects that improve the way people and their governments interact.
