One Hundred Grantmakers representing $3B have joined Philanthropy’s Promise Campaign

The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy has announced that nearly one hundred grantmakers representing almost $3 billion in annual giving, including private, family, corporate, and community foundations, have joined the Philanthropy’s Promise campaign, an NCRP-led effort to prioritize underserved communities and generate new support for solutions to social problems.

New Performing Arts Officer for the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation

The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation in Menlo Park, California, announced the appointment of EMIKO ONO as an officer in its Performing Arts Program. Ono worked at the Los Angeles County Arts Commission managing a portfolio of hundreds of grantees. Earlier she served as director of grant and professional development programs at Arts Council Long Beach, and prior to that she was manager of education initiatives and partnerships for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.  Info:
